Curiosity Cove will open its doors at Mandai Wildlife East starting November 21.

Families in Singapore have an exciting new destination this school holiday season. Covering an expansive 4,600 square meters, Curiosity Cove at Mandai Wildlife Reserve is being hailed as Singapore’s largest indoor nature-themed playground specifically designed for children aged 3 to 12.
Launching on November 21, Curiosity Cove features four immersive zones inspired by distinct ecosystems: Wetlands, Forestlands, Grasslands, and Drylands. Each zone offers a variety of interactive activities that combine physical exploration with digital elements.

In the Wetlands zone, children can learn about the vital role water plays in connecting different ecosystems and sustaining life. One highlight here is Reef Retreat, an interactive area where kids can experience the feel of a coral reef through touch and play.
The Forestlands zone encourages kids to climb into leafy nests perched high like orangutans resting in trees at the Orangutan Sleeping Platform. Nearby, the Singing Tree invites children to shake lianas and enjoy the ambient sounds of a rainforest.

At Grasslands, the focus is on animal camouflage and survival strategies in the savannah environment. Features like the Watering Hole and Nature’s Theatre Cave offer engaging, educational play.
Finally, the Drylands zone boasts the Giant Snake Belly — a massive 27-meter-long play structure inspired by the horned viper. Children can crawl and weave their way through a netted maze inside this snake-themed tunnel.

Entry to Curiosity Cove is managed by timed sessions between 10am and 6:30pm. Standard admission for a two-hour session costs S$48 and includes access for one child (aged 3 to 12) and one accompanying adult (aged 21 and above). Additional time can be purchased for longer play experiences.
Bennett Neo, Group CEO of Mandai Wildlife Group, shared, “Curiosity Cove is crafted to spark children’s innate curiosity and provide an exciting introduction to the wonders of nature. This interactive space brings wildlife and ecosystems to life with a blend of tactile and digital experiences.”

He added, “Each sound, light effect, and digital interaction invites children to explore at their own pace, fostering confidence as they engage with the environment. Curiosity Cove nurtures imagination, empathy for the natural world, and a lifelong passion for wildlife, helping to inspire the next generation of conservationists.”
